CFS Becomes Cultural & Linguistic Competence (CLC) Hub of the Technical Assistance Network for Children's Behavioral Health

The Department of Child & Family Studies, in partnership with the Center for Community Learning, Inc. in Miami and Texas, is the Cultural & Linguistic Competence (CLC) Hub of the Technical Assistance Network for Children's Behavioral Health (TA Network). The TA Network is the new national center for states and communities funded by the Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children and Their Families Program (Children's Mental Health Initiative or CMHI). Under the lead of the Institute for Innovation and Implementation at the University of Maryland , the CLC Hub is regularly reviewing and cataloging resources on a variety of topics, including disproportionalities, evidence-based practices, mental health and trauma, and specific populations.
