Dr. Joshua Cochran Keynote Speaker at Strong Voices/Strong Subjects

Prisoner ReentryDr. Joshua Cochran, Criminology, will be the keynote speaker at Strong Voices/Strong Subjects April 3rd event, sponsored by Project 180 Reentry, which focuses on prisoner reentry.  Dr. Cochran is the co-author, with Dr. Daniel Mears, of the recently published  Sage monograph, entitled, "Prisoner reentry in the era of mass incaceration".  A comprehensive examination of prisoner reentry. Drs. Cochran and Mears detail the challenges confronting released prisoners and provide an evidence-based blueprint for successfully reintegrating offenders into the community. 

Project 189 Reentry, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a reentry program for male prisoners in Florida. Their goal is to reduce the impact of repeat offenders upon public safety, public spending, Florida families and individual lives.
