MHLP Assistant Professor Receives USF Faculty Outstanding Research Achievement Award

Carla Stover, PhD, was selected by USF Research & Innovation receive a Faculty Outstanding Research Achievement Award for her achievements in 2015 which include; publishing eight journal articles focusing on the development and evaluation of interventions for families impacted by violence and substance abuse; a $672,000 R34 research grant from the National Institute of Drug Abuse to further develop her intervention, "Fathers for Change"; and co-investigator on a $2 million grant from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development to test a co-parenting intervention for at-risk African American parents. She was recognized and honored at a luncheon held on Monday, October 17, 2016.
