Huw Williams, PhD, will present "Traumatic Brain Injury and Crime: Causal Links and Windows for Intervention" on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 10:00 - 11:30am in MHC 1503. Professor Williams is an Associate Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology and Co-Director of the Centre for Clinical Neuropsychology Research (CCNR) at Exeter University. As an expert in Neurorehabilitation, Professot Williams is at the forefront of developing management practices for TBI in offender populations. TBI is a key factor amongst a complex array of issues in the lives of offenders which include: family fragmentation, trauma, drug usage, socio-economic disadvantage and can be managed more effectively in survivors, particularly in younger years, to minimize risk of offending.
