CBCS Faculty Selected For Global Collaboration 

Two CBCS faculty members were selected to receive the 2018 University of South Florida Nexus Initiative (UNI) Award for their proposals for global collaboration. School of Social Work faculty member, Dr. Maayan Lawental, will be collaborating with Dr. Tal Araten-Bergman from the Department of Community and Clinical Allied Health, School of Allied Health, La-Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia on "Stigma towards persons with dual diagnosis of substance use disorders and mental health". School of Aging Studies faculty member, Dr. Ross Andel, will be collaborating with Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. Dr. Andel will be focusing on the "Examination of Biological and Genetic Markers for Alzheimer's Disease in the Czech Republic". As UNI award recipients, Dr. Lawental and Dr. Andel will represent USF to advance our reputation as a research university with global impact. Congratulations on your achievement!
