Dialogue with the Department of Children & Families

https://mlsvc01-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cee58900101/4392243c-18cc-4e83-bdce-d0394424c79f.jpgDCF Secretary Mike Carroll along with John Bryant, Assistant Secretary of the DCF Substance Abuse and Mental Health Program Office, and April May, Director of Substance Abuse and Mental Health for the DCF Suncoast Regional Office came to our college on Friday, July 13th to have a dialogue about how CBCS can partner with DCF to address issues related to the school shootings. More than 50 CBCS faculty, staff and community partners attended. The discussion was quite informative. Based on the dialogue,Dr. Mary Armstrong, FMHI Director, is scheduling a follow-up meeting with John Bryant to further develop specific evaluation, consultation, and technical assistance roles for FMHI.
