CSD Alumna Accepted into RIT/NTID's Randleman Apprenticeship Program

CSD's Interpreter Training Program is pleased to announce that Karina Mendez Villanueva has been accepted into the first cohort of the RIT/NTID's Randleman Apprenticeship program. Karina graduated from USF in the Fall of 2018.

The Randleman Program is housed at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. The program is kicking off its inaugural semester Spring of 2019. The apprenticeship aims to prepare Interpreters of Color in post-secondary education by offering individualized curriculum in English and ASL proficiency, in interpreting, and in professional development strategies. Only 3 students were accepted into this program.
