College Receives Assistive Technology
CBCS recently installed 2 devices to assist those with hearing impairments: a video relay phone and a TDD phone. The video relay phone is a single videophone which provides access to the Video Relay Service and allows deaf and hard of hearing individuals to place phone calls using their native sign language. A TDD phone has been added for people who have hearing or speaking disabilities. Both devices are easy to use systems and are available to all CBCS students, faculty, staff and visitors. The video relay phone and TDD phone are located in the Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling office area.
