BSW Graduating Seniors are Pinned

In celebration of their accomplishments, and to welcome them into the social work profession, the BSW spring 2014 graduating students participated in the first pinning ceremony. The co-chair of the National Association of Social Workers-Tampa Bay chapter presented and pinned each student with a National Association of Social Workers Florida pin and offered congratulatory remarks on behalf of the association that represents the social work profession. The first NASW pinning ceremony was an enormous success and BSW Program Chair Lori Rogovin has expressed her desire to establish this as a new NASW/USF School of Social Work collaborative tradition for graduating BSW students. NASW donated the pins for the students and School of Social Work faculty were present to offer their best wishes.
