CBCS Alumni Council Website Launched

The CBCS Alumni Council website has been created and highlights the members of the council. Over the next several weeks, we'll feature all the members of the council. This month we feature Michelle Arnold and Manley Jaquiss.

Michelle Arnoldis a two-time graduate from USF: in 2005 with a Bachelor's of Arts (BA) in Psychology and in 2010 as a Doctor of Audiology (AuD). She currently is a clinical instructor at USF in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Her primary areas of interest are adult aural rehabilitation, patient-centered care, and traumatic brain injury. Most recently, Dr. Arnold has collaborated on research involving hearing aid digital noise reduction algorithms and acceptable noise level outcomes, audiological rehabilitation treatment plans for blast-injured United States Veterans, tinnitus, and speech understanding in noise screening for adults . Dr. Arnold also maintains research and clinical affiliations Tampa General Hospital.

Manley Jaquissis a 1986 graduate of USF with a degree in Criminology. He is also currently enrolled in the USF Master of Criminal Justice Administration (MACJA) program with a graduation date of May 2015. Mr. Jaquiss is an elected Director of the USF Alumni Association and was the previous Chairman of the Ft. Myers Alumni Chapter. Manley has been employed with the Florida Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole Services since 1988 and recently transferred to Tampa after having served in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in Ft. Myers for 25 years. Mr. Jaquiss is a Correctional Probation Senior Supervisor and oversees the Pre Trial Intervention Program in Tampa. Manley is married to his high school sweetheart and fellow USF Grad) Jill Jaquiss, BS 1986 Business Administration, and together they have a daughter Megan Jaquiss, a USF Undergrad, Class of 2016 in Biology. They are Lifetime Alumni Association members and this family truly bleeds "Green and Gold"!!
