MACJA Graduate Receives Public Service Award

Adam Wiegand, a 2012 graduate of the Masters in Criminal Justice Administration program, recently received the Public Service Award from the Florida Juvenile Justice Association during their 19th Annual Adolescent Conference. Wiegand has been a juvenile probation officer for the Department of Juvenile Justice, Circuit 12 since January 2011. He was awarded the Public Service Award for his participation in community initiatives that educate and foster understanding of issues facing at risk youth.
