CSD Doctoral Student Wins Research Award

Stephanie Randall Watts from the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders was selected as one of the winners of the USF 7th Annual Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Symposium. As one of the winners, she is entitled to $500 in travel funds to present her research. She will also be recognized in front of the USF leadership at a special luncheon on April 23rd, 2015. In addition, she has been invited to take part in the statewide competition that will be held on April 24, 2015 at the University of Central Florida and will feature student research from universities throughout Florida. Stephanie's research focused on examining the relationship between perceptual clinical ratings of voluntary cough production and airway safety during swallowing in individuals with ALS.
