Criminology Faculty Receive Awards in Albany, NY

Drs. Michael Lynch and Elizabeth Cass were recognized on May 16th at State University of New York at Albany, School of Criminal Justice in Paige Hall. Dr. Lynch received the Distinguished Alumni Academic Award and Dr. Cass received the award for Distinguished Alumni Practitioner Award. In addition, Lynch was recently notified that one of his coauthored articles entitled "Is it a crime to produce ecological disorganization? Why Green Criminology and political economy matter in the analysis of global ecological harm", published in the British Journal of Criminology, was awarded "Honorable Mention" for the Allan Schnaibert Award from the American Sociology Association's Environment and Technology Section.
