APA citations and more! The wonder of EndNote!
Dr. Ardis Hanson
Where: Westside E
When: Feb 17, 2014,  11AM – 12:30PM

Updating references by hand? Tired of typing and pasting from one document to another? Move up to a citation management program!  EndNote is a great tool to manage citations, track copies of papers, and literature reviews. In addition, it has the wonderful cite while you write feature so you should never have orphaned in-text references or orphaned citations in your references list. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of citation management programs, how to import citations, how to embed citations into your working drafts, and how to generate the references list when you are done writing (better than magic).

Additional trainings are planned to highlight downloading from different databases, editing output styles, tips to using Cite While You Write, managing downloaded content, and more.

Since this is intended to be an interactive session, you can download EndNote onto your workstation or laptop (logged onto USF network).

To do so, go into:

EndNote for PC or Mac also can be purchased at the USF Computer Store, located in the Marshall Center, for $10.00. This is delivered through Electronic Software Delivery and the download is available at the end of the check out process. Installation can occur as soon as the software is downloaded.
