Description of  Research Interests

My research interests includes topics of neurobiology of aging, specifically with immune activation and Alzheimer’s disease. I am interested in further understanding how the role of systemic infections can accelerate Alzheimer’s pathology and to identify immune pathways that undergo age related changes that may make individuals more susceptible to developing the disease.
