Bell, Karen, Au.D.

Karen earned her Au.D. from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2015 and completed her 4th year externship at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She was awarded the McKnight Doctoral Fellowship in June 2015 and is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program for Communication Sciences and Disorders at USF. Her primary research focuses on how changes in the auditory and vestibular system influence changes in cognitive function. Her immediate research goals for are to investigate vestibular dysfunction as a biomarker of mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
