Professor Kathy Black, PhD, spoke with Jaha Cummings on WKDW 97.5 FM's Tricounty Hour about livable communities and America's response to the needs of its rapidly growing older population. According to the Population Reference Bureau, the number of Americans age 65 and older is expected to nearly double by 2060, totaling around 95 million adults, compared to the 52 million in 2018. Dr. Black also explored the goal of the establishment of livable communities in order to fully support this aging population. Listen to a recording here.
