Ross Andel, PhD., Associate Professor in the School of Aging Studies
was awarded one of three College of Behavioral and Community Science (CBCS) Internal Research Grants for the Spring 2012 Cycle. This program provides seed funding for faculty research related to the College’s mission and goals. Dr. Andel’s research will be in the area of "Auditory Cognitive Training in Older Adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment.” Other faculty members receiving the grants were Celia Lescano, PhD (MHLP) "Assessing the Feasibility of Family-Based Risk-Reduction Interventions among Latino Families in the Juvenile Drug Court" and Ann Eddins, PhD, MBA, CCC-A (CSD) "Neural Signatures of Age-related Changes in Auditory Spectro-Temporal Processing."
