Aging Studies Student Wins Research Award

Elizabeth Handing from the School of Aging Studies was selected as one of the winners of the USF 6th Annual Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Symposium. As one of the winners, she is entitled to $500 in travel funds to present her research. She will also be recognized in front of the USF leadership at a special luncheon on April 25th, 2014. Her research focused on alcohol intake at midlife as a risk factor for dementia in late life and included collaborators from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden.
