Doctorate in Audiology Program Ranked in the Nation’s Top 20

The USF College of Behavioral and Community Sciences’ Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program is ranked number 18 in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report. The AuD from USF’s program are in high-demand and enjoy rewarding careers in academia and corporate settings, in addition to healthcare.  

The AuD program are eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) administered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and for Florida state licensure in audiology. 

According to U.S. News, rankings are generated through “ranking indicators” derived from statistical data reported by each institution.  For each program, U.S. News evaluates key areas such as expert opinions in the field, opportunities for student engagement, resources for student support and career success, as well as faculty and student performance in terms of existing credentials, research impact, and metrics such as student job placement.
