Aural Rehabilitation Workshop in Partnership with the Ida Institute
The Ida Institute and USF will be holding a workshop to help professionals further develop their aural rehabilitation skills. The one-day workshop will involve collaboration with other aural rehabilitation professionals in an exploration of motivational engagement and an introduction to several Ida Institute learning modules. The following topics will be explored:
- The Patient Journey: Developing a new perspective for taking case history
- The lines, the Box, and the Circle: Learn how to uncover your patient's motivations and prepare them for change relating to their hearing health.
- Ida Institute Basics: Discuss adult learning principles as part of the rehabilitation process.
The workshop will take place on October 28th, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM in Tampa, FL.
The workshop is ASHA and AAA CEU accredited and open to all US aural rehabilitation professionals.
