CSD Professor Emeritus Receives Honors from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
The highest award that the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) confers has been given to Elaine R. Silliman, PhD. The Honors of the association recognize members for their distinguished contributions to the discipline of communication sciences and disorders. This acknowledgment is limited to individuals who are well-known throughout the nation and the world for a lifetime of innovative clinical practice, insightful and rigorous research, creative administration, effective legislative activity, outstanding teaching and other distinguished professional contributions. The award ceremony will be held at the annual meeting of the association in November, which will be held in Orlando, Florida.
