Dr. Lister Appointed as Interim Chair of CSD
The Dean of CBCS, Dr. Julianne Serovich, has appointed Dr. Jennifer J. Lister as Interim Chair of the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders. By way of introduction, Dr. Serovich stated:
“Dr. Lister joined USF in 1999 and has risen through the ranks to her recent position of Professor and Director of Audiology Graduate Programs. She earned a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science and a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Alabama. Dr. Lister is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and is a licensed audiologist in the State of Florida. Dr. Lister’s research interests are aging, auditory processing, auditory training, and cortical auditory evoked potentials. Her current work focuses on the creation of tools to assist clinical audiologists in treating older adult patients.
In her new role, Dr. Lister will provide leadership for the academic and research programs in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders and will represent the department on the CBCS Dean’s Council. Dr. Lister is replacing Dr. Terry Chisolm who is assuming a new position in the Office of the Provost at USF.”
The CSD community joins the Dean in welcoming Dr. Lister.
