Great Music & Learn About Living with Stroke

Marc Black, composer and performer, will be here on Saturday, March 5 at 2:00 pm in PCD1147 with a live performance of songs from his CD, "A Stroke of Genius". This is a great event for students, people living with stroke, and the whole family. The album has been called an "album of hope", and captures the poems written by his friend, who survived a severe stroke, with Marc Black's music. A documentary about his friend and the making of the CD will also be shown. Discussion and questions from the audience will follow.
Marc Black is an inductee to the New York Blues Hall of Fame, and has written and shared his music with the National Aphasia Association as well as other aphasia and stroke centers around the country.
