Dr. Ann Eddins Serving as President Elect of CAPCSD and Editor of AJA

Dr. Ann Eddinswill serve a 1-year term as President Elect of the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD), followed by a year as President, and a 3rd year as Past President. CAPCSD has evolved into an organization whose vision it is to be the definitive source of leadership, education and advocacy for academic programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders. The mission is to promote quality, accessibility and innovation in CSD higher education by advancing the highest standards in pedagogy, clinical education and research. As a Council, they facilitate the recruitment, education and retention of both faculty and students to meet the public need.

Dr. Eddins is also serving as Editor of the American Journal of Audiology (AJA), published by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is serving a 3-year term. AJA is an international journal for peer-reviewed research and other scholarly articles pertaining to screening, diagnosis, management and outcomes of hearing and balance disorders as well as the etiologies and characteristics of these disorders.
