NCMHA: Call for applications, Hartford–NASW Supervisory Leaders in Aging program

The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) invites social workers in Florida, Illinois, and Maryland to apply for the Supervisory Leaders in Aging (SLA) program. This innovative professional development program, which is supported by the John A. Hartford Foundation, improves the delivery of health care and social services to older adults by strengthening the supervision of staff providing direct social services. SLA includes five days of interactive training scheduled biweekly, for which 30 continuing education units are awarded. Program graduates receive ongoing information and support through the growing Supervisory Leaders in Aging Network. The application deadline is February 24, unless available program slots are filled in advance of that date. Eligible social workers are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
